Center For Living Watersheds

Vision

The Center for Living Watersheds is a state-of-the art research and learning facility created to explore freshwater quality and to stimulate renewed appreciation for the streams, creeks, rivers and water bodies that flow into and out of our lives.

Mission

Our mission as a watershed research and learning center is to explore the links between healthy waters, healthy people and land use practices.

Our research programs provide a collaborative, innovative, multi-disciplinary setting for watershed studies that incorporate problem solving through science and promotion of watershed stewardship.

Our education programs provide interactive learning opportunities, outreach, and technical assistance to help people understand impacts on the environment and inspire sustainable practices.

Goal

Our goal is to establish a dynamic, adaptive Center for Living Watersheds to carry out our mission as a research and learning center for freshwater quality, quantity and watershed stewardship.
