Providing local leaders tools to make informed water resource, stormwater and wastewater decisions
The Local Officials Community Water Curriculum (LOC) delivers high-quality water education directly to local officials in your community. This comprehensive curriculum provides community leaders with valuable information to make informed decisions about the water infrastructure issues facing their community.
The Local Officials Curriculum Program offers over 35 different education courses taught by experts on water quality, including such topics as:
- Stormwater
- Land Use & Planning
- Water Resources
- Construction
- Flooding
- Wastewater
- Agriculture
- Stream Health
- Ordinance review for stormwater & land use practices
In addition, the Local Officials Curriculum Program facilitates public education and outreach such as stream clean-ups, nature walks, and classroom instruction on a variety of water resource issues.
