Water Management Situation Report for Cumberland River Basin Reservoir System and Associated Waterways

Old Hickory

The lower end of the lake actually destratified by the end of October, mixing nutrients and oxygen. After this point, even though spillway releases were no longer needed for oxygenation, the Corps continued releases to provide a more consistent base flow in the Cumberland River downstream.
